Event for October, 2025
Hi orchid lovers!
For the month of October we will be having a meeting on the third Wednesday evening, the 15th.The King of Glory Church is located at 3430 Maple Grove Road, Boise.
Please park on the south side of the building and enter in the southwest double doors.Take an immediate right. There will be signs directing you.
Socialization starts at 7:00 and the meeting starts at 7:30.
For this month Chris Rudd will do a presentation of how she grows orchids in her home, (she has a room dedicated to orchid growing). She brought some of these to the silent auction in July. They were very unusual and beautiful. She will cover watering, fertilizing, light exposure and much more.
There will be refreshments, raffle prizes and door prizes.Be sure to bring your beautiful, blooming orchids for the display table.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Arrangements for all events for the rest of the year are not completely finalized yet. When each date gets closer, details will be added to this website and an email will be sent out to TVOS members.
November 2025- we will be at the King of Glory Church on the third Wednesday of the month. We are tentatively looking for a speaker to present a class or we may present an Miss Orchid Girl orchid care video fromYouTube.
There will also be nominations for new board members for 2026, so please let us know if you are interested in joining the TVOS board of directors.
December 2025- We will have our Annual Meeting/ holiday party and potluck on December 17th. We’re trying something new this year. We will be meeting at the Western Riding Club clubhouse off of south Cole road. It should be cozy and festive for our party.
Eventually monthly event recaps will be located in the “More” section of this website.
